Personal training is about more than showing someone how to perform an exercise correctly. Personal training is about helping someone achieve more than they could on their own. In losing 140 pounds over 14 months I learned a lot about weight loss and the fallback of working out on my own. One of my best friends happens to be a personal trainer and provided me with a lot of guidance along the way. More than guidance it provided me with an "accountability factor". All of a sudden I had someone to report to. He helped me establish my motivation for what I was attempting. When you determine why you are doing something instead of just doing it your work takes on purpose. After losing the weight I obtained my certification from the World Renowned Cooper Institute in Dallas. More than the certification I have the hands-on experience. I know what it is like to be out of shape and have to work harder than I really ever wanted to. With this experience I can help you determine the motivation and the path to a better life. Personal training is about more than the exercise. Personal training is about connecting with someone to help them achieve what it is they desire.
